Alastair Treacher – Associate Osteopath
Alastair is an Osteopath who is widely experienced in Rehabilitation, Biomechanics, and the Neuroscience of pain. As well as working in clinical practice, Alastair lectures, and mentor’s trainee osteopaths in the student clinic at Unitec Institute of Technology.
Having spent the last four years working closely with sports teams and athletes, he has a deep understanding of sports injury and rehabilitation. He has also spent a significant portion of his career managing patients who suffer with chronic, musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain.
Alastair focuses on applying a patient-centred approach to treatment that utilizes a combination of manual and movement therapy. Being able to tailor each treatment to match the specific needs of each patient, helps establish the most efficient pathway to recovery possible.
